The first step in having a corset made is to arrange a no-obligation consultation, during which we will discuss your ideas, take your measurements and discuss style, fabric and embellishments.
Once we have a proposed design and you have decided to go ahead, a 50% deposit is payable. We will then arrange a series of fittings, in calico to begin with to get the fit right and make any fine adjustments before cutting the final fabric. The consultation and fittings may either take place at my home in Sheffield, or by arrangement in your home (although I may ask for travel costs if you live a long way away).
The final fitting will be to collect the finished corset, I will give you advice on lacing and care of your corset. The whole process takes 4-6 weeks, depending on your availability for fittings.
